“Summer’s Rain” As the summer’s rain Pours down wet, warm, and Soothing waters, I sit quietly by the window With no movement, I imagine the pounding against The window as a soft and mellow Drum Strumming a beat of rhythm Down upon me that creates Jolting rejuvenation, That allows me to cleanse My inner being; What a sensational moment as The Sun’s golden shine takes A break While it is Hidden behind the Dense clouds that cast A dark film of meek beauty In the sky But once the rain cease to fall The golden sun shines brightly once More……. As I view the awesome rainbow That finally appear, I emit a small sigh, Welcoming a new dawn So refreshing……………
