Sumtimes we confuse salvation with divine assignment.we make it seem like we choose to be saved and we have the power to refuse to be saved.logically that true buh spiritual truth is above logic.by our nature,we are children of wrath awaiting Gods judgement.all have sinned and fallen short of Gods glory.how can a sinner choose God?jesus said although whosoever believes in him wnt perish(emphasising on a choice) yet he goes on to say that light came into the world buh men loved darkness rather than light.bcos of our nature,we cant choose.we are saved by grace through faith,nt by ourselves buh its a gift of God.then comes divine assignment.paul says we are his workmanship prepared beforehand for gud works.it is in the doing of the work of christ after we are freely saved that God looks at our minds and heart and reward us according to our deeds.so salvation is a gift whilst been rewarded by God entails working with the grace bestowed on u by God to bare fruit.that is your duty
