Sun, Jun 30, 2013: There is a rumor going around that a truck ran through the Broederstroom mva scene last night, it is true, however, it collided with another truck and missed the medics on the scene. Nobody was injured during that incident. Those who had died and were injured were involved in the initial accident. I would also like to call upon community members not to get involved in SAPS responsibilities on accident scenes. When you notify the relatives of the deceased, SAPS have their hands full with traumatized parents/relatives - It is also very hard for a parent to see their child in that condition. You are not helping by doing that. Please be responsible and consider the impact of your actions. Also, when an emergency vehicle needs to pass you on a busy road, take a minute and make way before it is necessary for that vehicle to slow down or wait behind you to decide whether or not you would like to assist in saving a life, it should not be an issue, it is your duty. Thank you.
