Sunday 30 June 2013 Heb 6:10 For God is not unjust, to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed to His name, ministering to the saints, and now are ministering. Here I just can say amen. I know that many of us have done work not for our own gain and even do it yet, for the gain of the bigger picture. Many times then we might notice that we promote the wrong kingdom, the kingdom of a church, organisation, institution, name it what you want to. Then we get very disappointed because all our effort and productivity that we delivered is absorbed by an institution that enriched itself thereby, paid big salaries to their agents, erected buildings that not reflected the wealth of most of the members. Then we get so much remorse when we see our hard labour was not for what we meant it to be. But this verse really gives me hope. God is not unjust to forget our work or the selfless labour that we did to His name. It does not matter of we served saints or they proved themselves later not saint-like. We cannot just carry on with that after we realized they waste our hard labour. Under all those circumstances there are other saints who indirectly got life and food from your hard labour. God still is busy to reach souls and to build them. And when the religious structure will topple, the gold wherewith you in selfless labour were building still will stand and God will keep you in mind, today and also hereafter.
