Sunday Afternoon Reflection: Thinking back on this week, it has become ever more obvious that we are indeed a culture of disengagement. We want people when we want them and many times dont check for them again till we need them again. Our memories are short. Once we have thanked someone for something they have done for us, thats it. We move on. We feel thats all that is required of us. If someone has lent you emotional support, physical support, financial support and plain old support at the time you desperately needed it, the universe embraced you. My mother always told me never forget when someone has done you a good. Sometimes you have no idea what it took for the person to do it. We tend to think people give what they can do without or afford. Not always true. Some People give because what they cant do is see you distressed and what they can afford is to give you a piece of mind. Engage with someone today. It may be just what they really needed.
