Sunday Home-Work......any takers??? Take a good look around - TopicsExpress

Sunday Home-Work......any takers??? Take a good look around your home, office, work area, vehicle and storage units. Are there any things that you do not use any more? Look at everything and decide if you need it. For example, there may be pictures on the walls which no longer resonate with you; or dishes in your kitchen that you no longer use. There may be clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer wear; or books on the shelves that you no longer read etc. Look for such things in your space. Why have you stored all the things that you no longer need? Are you emotionally attached to them? Were they gifted by someone you once cared about? Have you displayed these things to impress visitors? Have you stored these things for a rainy day when you may need them? Have you kept these clothes in the hope that you may fit into them some day? Look at your surroundings once again. Is there any item which brings up sad or negative memories? Do you feel a kind of helplessness when you look at the clothes that don’t fit you anymore? Does your self-confidence nose dive? Don’t keep such objects in your home which make you feel inadequate. Remove them from your surroundings. Give them away or sell them. Unused and unwanted things hold on to dense energy which makes your life an overbearing experience by creating negativity around you. Now onwards pay close attention to whatever you bring into your space. It should either be something that you need or something which carries positive memories. Don’t accept everything which is offered to you and display or store it in your space. Learn to say no to things that you don’t want. If you can’t say no, ask yourself, “Why can’t I say no? What are the reasons behind this behavior?” Do some soul searching and you will find the real cause. Quoted from my first book, Achieve Your Highest Potential: Be the Best You Can Be
