Sunday January 11...woke up this morning...went to Stars and Stripes breakfast with my boys and youngest grand diamond!!! Loved it thanks Schmitty and all the Hays Firefighters it was nice!!! Then we headed to church...ok its been an entire year since we have gone to church and for that I am not proud of but it is the way it is!!! And for those of you that really read this post I DO believe in God and I am thankful grateful and blessed that He blesses me everyday!!! Im struggling with several inner things right now so bare with me!!! Growing up I went to church on occasion and some years was more than others but we did not go every week!!! That being said that does not mean that we were not taught about God or that at a young age I did not ask Him into my heart!!! I havent been a great example in bringing up my own children to go to church either which this is probably to late for confession or to ask forgiveness but here is what I have tried to do...I have tried to be the best example of what God wants us to be and tried to make sure I followed Christ in my walk!!! Now I have fallen a time or two or even a thousand but I keep trying!!! When we went into church we were greeted by many people first the gracious greeters at the door them by different parishioners!!! Yes we were at times uncomfortable which isnt their fault but ours!!! When it came time for welcoming though a young boy who I personally know has a brother in law enforcement came all the way back to shake Donnys hand and welcome us...Im not sure if it is the respect he has or just the fact he is a great kid and was glad to see us! Either way he made my day!!! Not the elder who shook our hand after church and comment about our New Years resolution!!! Its ok though because I know he is right too we need to be at church not to judge others but to think about how we walk on the week !!! Thanks for listening and remember Fierce Living 2015!!!
