Sunday March 16 - The Oh My Mys and Ben Fuller will be celebrating Tanya Fullers Birthday and kicking off Bens week long residency! Please join us for the Acoustic Folk-rock Mayhem Ben Fuller on The Oh My Mys: I met Bethany Randall and Sarah Albert when I was new to Portland through a mutual drummer friend. Both women had relocated to Portland from Minnesota where their mutual passion for music resulted in free-spirited late night jam sessions - usually fueled by a healthy dose of rum! Beths vocals, simply put, are like honey in a hot toddy, nectarous and melodious with a serious kick. Initially Sarah was focused on hand drumming but over the years has expanded her repertoire into a mixture of singing, playing banjo and guitar. They have honed their sound and have evolved into this folky, brazen in-your-face duo who will bust out some serious hip-hop rhymes smack dab in the middle of spot-on folk harmonies. Theres never a dull moment when these two are around! During our time in Portland my wife Tanya and I became part of a close-knit crew that coalesced around music, fun, and the beautiful Northwest. Sunday is also Tanya’s birthday so we are excited for this over due reunion and celebration of our Portland tribe! reverbnation/theohmymys
