Sunday. Outbreaks of rain with some snow to higher routes will clear from far eastern and northern parts of England and Scotland and early showers will clear from Northern Ireland with conditions turning drier and brighter but will continue to affect far northern eastern parts of Scotland and the Northern Isles. There will be the risk of some showers, mainly across southern and western parts of Ireland, the Channel Islands and far south western parts of England with a few more isolated showers near other western and southern coasts of England, the Isle of Man western coasts of Wales, western coasts of Scotland and the Western Isles. Some of these may push further inland at times and may give a little sleet or snow across high ground but these generally lighter and fewer and further between than on Saturday. Elsewhere conditions will be largely dry with only the odd isolated shower. A cloudy start for many northern and eastern parts of the UK but most places will see some sunny spells at times, with the exception of north eastern parts of Scotland and the Northern Isles. Windy across north eastern parts of Scotland and the Northern Isles whilst southern and western areas of Ireland will turn breezy. Otherwise winds will be mostly quite light. A cool day after a chilly start with some frost patches where skies have cleared overnight. Temperatures will reach 5 to 7 degrees quite widely and 8 to 10 degrees across far south eastern parts of England and East Anglia.
