Sunday, September 22nd inspired by Dante Marks Trusting God is a Process “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverb 3:5 Often times when we go through things just like the last time God brought us out with His infinite wisdom. Through that exchange God builds us up. Out of ignorance fear can set in because we don’t understand or we don’t recognize the unfamiliar territory. I believe when God builds us back up, He will never let us stay after being restored. Have you ever seen someone move slowly towards something and you get anxious because through your eyes it seems like they’re taking forever to do something; especially when it’s clear God has provided. It’s an easy position to take from the outside looking in, however, we fail to recognize that just like a baby learning to walk, they, too, have to take small steps. As they keep taking baby steps they are strengthening their muscles for the long walks to come in their lives. Trusting God is a process that we need to navigate through. God desires that we move forward in our lives and in doing so gets us closer to what He is calling us to do. Our arrival will be accompanied with a firm stance that will not be overcome by the slightest breeze. Being restored by God is a simple motion forward. Take time to gain the understanding of God’s ways for the matters of your heart. Prayer: Lord, as we go through, I ask that You remind us of the glory to glory moments we experience in life so we will continue to see that there is nothing too hard for You. Amen.
