Sunday Thoughts One moral truth is a certain law of reality all people must live by, People reap what they sow. If we will be prepared for retirement, we must make plans and work those plans. If our marriage will be happy and meaningful, we must invest our best thought and efforts toward these ends. If we want to be healthy, we must eat properly, exercise, rest. At the creation God placed human beings in a habitat marvelously suited to sustain life for all the worlds people. Humans were given responsibility to care for this creation. Over the last 50 years many voices have been raised to call the world community to ask, Have trends of relating to our environment been released which may cause much destruction for later generations? I am not a scientist so these matters are beyond my knowledge and expertise in many ways. Issues like global warming, the worlds supply of oil, the quality of the air we breath, will there be enough fresh water, these and others are important, crucial issues. While I, we, may not be scientists, we can inform ourselves by reading responsibly written books about the issues. E.O. Wilsons The Creation, or Robert Parhams Loving Neighbors Across Time. Doesnt it make sense that how we treat the creation matters, and we must make good decisions and set trends into motion which will impact our world for good.
