Sunday, as usual is our day to visit Akvavit. Every Saturday and Sunday they do a weekend Buffet from 12 till 4pm. Akvavit is located on Jomtien Beach Road at the end of Soi 3. These photos are from a previous visit, however, for a buffet the food always maintains a consistently high standard. The menu always includes, some of the nicest sliced cold ham I have ever had. Fresh Salads, a couple of Thai dishes, Pytt Bellman, which has become a favourite dish of mine. Some fantastic creamed potatoes and Nuys favourite, Spare Ribs. I hear many clients talking about these when we visit, always favourably. If you like your ribs, fall off the bone, then you wont be disappointed. Fresh fruit is available to finish off your meal. The constant checking of the dishes by the waitresss and chefs ensure that the availability and presentation are always up to standard. There are other buffets, some costing less, however the consistency and quality here always makes this my Sunday venue of choice, until Nuy decides she would like a roast dinner.
