Sundays are always the best day of the week for me. Why, you wonder? I get to see awesome people and create great music for the glory of God. This morning, I was a congregational member as the Youth of Rush Creek led our church. Their mini-sermons were inspirational, and the music was uplifting (now, I know where my future choir members are)! This afternoon, I had rehearsal with members of the Rush Creek and First Christian church choirs for the Palm Sunday presentation. Talk about making music! This was a great way to put a signature on Sunday and what it means for me, especially as a musician. On that note, if you are not doing ONE thing on April 13 at 6:00p, PLEASE come to Rush Creek Christian Church and hear the choirs of Rush Creek and First Christian Church of Arlington present Theodore DuBois The Seven Last Words of Christ. It is going to be absolutely breathtaking.
