SuniTAFE wishes Vimal good luck for tonight at the Awards Ceremony and hopes to hear for the 2nd year running... And the winner is SuniTAFE Student - Vimal Ram after Jenny Batnag - Dip of Nursing international student at SuniTAFE from the Philippines won it last year! Check out this video profile on him as a Victorian International Education Award Finalist and how a visit to Australia in 2012 sparked his interest in the local cuisine and food to follow his passion for cooking to one day soon open and run his own restaurant. He is looking to undertake further studies at SuniTAFE with a Diploma of Hospitality or Business to be able run front and back of house of the restaurant. Vimal is from Fiji and is studying a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery at our Mildura Campus. He is nominated in the International Student of the Year – Vocational Education and Training (VET) category. Fingers crossed for tonights award announcement Vimal. Youre a winner in our eyes for what you have achieved so far and a great SuniTAFE and international student ambassador. He says, “The joy I get from learning is infectious!
