Sunny and Cooler The heat and humidity only lasted a couple days, some parts of the tri-state were greeted by showers and thunderstorms early this morning. Those showers and thunderstorms only lasted into early afternoon in western Kentucky. The clouds will move out through the rest of the evening and tonight it will turn clear and cool. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 50’s low 60’s across the tri-state.Tomorrow highs will struggle to get out of the 70’s and it will be less humid, but we will have mostly sunny skies. A warming trend will continue into the weekend, but showers and thunderstorms will be possible late Saturday through early Monday. Cool weather returns for the start of next week.
