Sunshiny day! I spent some time outside with the dogs and camera. I really think our new foster dog is a grand dog. He was returned twice to a Kansas humane society so wasnt eligible for another adoption. You know what that means. Fortunately Leslie Leslie Freeze Johnson, an NESR angel, rallied the forces to evaluate, transport, and foster him. All I can say is his first 2 adoptions had to be lousy. I know its not politically correct to say that. But, this is a really nice dog. He has been with us for a week and blended into our family very nicely. Those of you who know us will understand the significance of that statement. Our three dogs and this guy are together after a few days of introductions. He was a little shy round Dave at first. Dave discovered asking him to sit, treats, and a soft approach breached the divide. We do have a dragline on him because it appeared he was worried about having his collar grabbed. So far Ive cut off about 18 inches of the line. Please put on your thinking caps. I know the right family is somewhere waiting for him. Here are some new pictures from today.
