Super Mario World/Super Mario Bros. 4 (Review) Well this can be classified as a Throw Back Thursday game that me and a lot of my friends (Including Alex, Mark (Batman), A.j., Josh, Christopher, Dejoire, etc....) played when we were kids. When I first got the Super Nintendo, Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart was bundled with it like when I become friends with Kyndal along with Jacquees. But I didnt know, I got the console when I was 4 years old. I was living in Germany and I didnt know what a video game was at the time. And Scott dont you dare make German joke about this, because I know youre gonna read this eventually. Anyways, the story starts out with the Mario Brothers and Princess Toadstool taking a vacation on Dinosaur Island. But once again, King Koopa and the Koopalings kidnaps the boob-less princess and Yoshis friends and its up to the Mario, Luigi, and their new friend Yoshi to save the day........ AGAIN. Seriously, dose he ever give up or tries to kidnap somebody else? Hell kidnap Cherrell, Hope, Laura, or a celebrity. Theyre not doing anything. Geez! No offense ladies. Lol Yep, once again dansiel in distress like Talitha (Catwoman), Ashley, Brittany, Tiffany, Dana, and Shereitta. Unlike the third one, the number of power-ups have been cut down to 5 1/2. The newest attack ability is the Spin-jump, use for breaking yellow blocks and eliminating real quickly and performs excellent combos with the power-ups. If you press and hold L or R, you can move the screen from left to right to see whats up ahead. Everything else is the same, running jumping, and picking up shells. (Although I forgot to mention that back in the third review) The mushroom now has a slightly bigger role from my point of view. Not only taking extra hit, but it also enables you to run faster and jump higher and no I did not get that from the movie Sandlot. Fire is back, instead of shooting 1 fire-missiles, you can shoot 2. The starman isnt rare as to find in this game and yet this is the only game where the invincibility last longer than any other Mario game. The best item for last is the Cape-Feather which dominates half the game. Better than the super leaf, if you get enough running momentum, you can fly for an unlimited time. Another power-up is the P-balloon, making you blow up and float balloon. Newest character is everyones (including Amanda, Destiney, Jessenia,& Longmire) favorite Yoshi. With him, hell eat almost anything in sight, like Matthew will eat anything that Ashley gives him. Yoshis friends can be found and playable later on in the game with their own ability and colored shells they have in their mouth. (In 3 colors, red, blue, yellow, and, green) Its rumor that its best match the right color for better advantage. But Ill have to look that up again. Red Yoshi - Blows fire Green - Standard or all round Yellow - Earthquake Blue (Mine & Aeridius) - Fly Overall, Im giving this game 10 out 10 and Im sure Kri and both Carmen & Carmen can agree with me on that.
