That compound is not far from ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate (super-glue) actually on the hydrocarbon scale, octyl is far more dangerous than ethyl. so Superglue is safer than dermabond. :) The adhesive that makes up the sticky on duct tape is a mixture of compounds such as Polychloroprene, Styrene - butadiene and Polyvinyl ether~I find that a mixture of chemicals is riskier than a singular chemical, so in my opinion, I will continue to go for the super glue when I cut myself.
