Superyaki? Sukiyakiiiii!! ^_^ was how the kids would call beef sukiyaki. they all loved it and over the years, ive learned to cook it properly once i found the right simple recipe which im going to share with you guys today. its a rainy, lazy sunday here in cebu so what better time to cook beef sukiyaki, yeah? :) Ingredients: 1/2 kl beef sukiyaki (i like buying this from s&r. their packs are big so you only need to cook half for whatever dish youll make) 1 big white onion, sliced in quarters and separated 2 carrots, peeled and sliced diagonally or into thick flowers or strips (your choice) 1 pack inoki mushrooms 1 pack shitake mushrooms 1 pack oyster mushrooms (just cos i love mushrooms! :D), torn 2 packs tofu, sliced into big cubes 1 to 2 stalks leek, washed and sliced into 2 inch lengths 1/2 chinese cabbage, washed and cut into 2 inch wide pieces 1 pack cellophane noodles (sotanghon) ground black pepper for seasoning for sukiyaki sauce: 1/3 cup soy sauce / 3 Tbsp sake / 5 Tbsp sugar (double or triple if you find it bland) for dipping: 4 pasteurized eggs *optional (i personally do away with this) Method: 1. boil water, add carrots and onions. when carrots is half way soft, add the rest of the ingredients 2. season with ground black pepper and serve piping hot oishi!! :D
