"Supporters of charter schools in Indiana love to talk about how much more accountable charters are than any other public schools. If charters don’t deliver, they get shut down, the argument goes. But the reality is closing down even a very low performing charter school remains really tough in the Hoosier state, despite recent laws designed to ramp up accountability. The latest example comes from Fort Wayne.
