Sure its entirely *possible* that your mother/ex/landlord/boss/3rd - TopicsExpress

Sure its entirely *possible* that your mother/ex/landlord/boss/3rd cousin twice removed is a sociopath. But its not *probable* So can we please make it a point to not call ppl psychopaths and sociopaths unless we actually know they are diagnosed or suspected of being on the aspd scale by mental health professionals? Cause the whole this person is clearly a sociopath because they cheated/denied my promotion/made me cry isnt really solid evidence of aspd. Maybe the person is just a selfish asshole and oxygen thief? by forcing a diagnosis and assumption of behavior, were doing whats been part of mental health shaming forever- were using symptoms of an actual illness to make unflattering assumptions about people we dont like. And its assuming because we dont like someone, the only logical assumption is that person must be crazy. All women are crazy, because hormones and periods All schizophrenic ppl are untrustworthy Only bad parents get post partum depression People with anxiety are just cowardly People with depression are weak And now we have all assholes are sociopaths it kinda sucks when you belong to already misunderstood and largely ignored group, and then more people get added to your group because its easy to make negative assumptions about peoples mental health if you dont like them. I already have to share the planet with douche nozzles, I dont want to be forced to share similar traits on the mental health spectrum with them because you lumped them next me on a whim. I get you dont like them; I dont like assholes either. But your dislike of them isnt a reason to make people with actual mental health struggles look evil, selfish, or inhuman.
