Surprised? Economic development is code for borrowing money and raising tolls and taxes so big corporations and political insiders profit from one failure after another. Today, it was mostly empty planes (or money losing mini-planes) to Houston and Chicago until the subsidies ran out. Before, it was spending tax money on the slow-speed ACES train to New York, rodeo, baseball stadium, Miss America pageant,hockey team, two convention halls, Revel Casino, free beach concerts, etc. The taxes, tolls and debt to pay for these failures put Atlantic City economy into a death spiral. Yet Christie Republicans and Sweeney Democrats will be holding a summit in Atlantic City on November 12 to do even more of this! Please like Liberty Prosperity before its too late..
