Suspect arrested in Ameriya rape case Alexandria (Egypt), June 13 /MCN/ by Ehab Rushdi The Ameriya Police Department in Alexandria arrested early Friday Adel Shehata, accused of kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old girl from al-Bayda village who was found Thursday on the northern coast of Alexandria. The head of investigation in Ameriya police department questioned the victim who detailed her abduction, and how some youth from al-Bayda village raped her. She also informed the police about their names and how they look like. The minor girl is currently before Beautach Prosecution to complete the investigation. She disappeared on Monday morning, from al-Bayda village in Ameriya (West Alexandria), when she went to buy household supplies. She returned on Thursday to her home, after three young men abducted her. She said they took her to a kiosk on the outskirts of the village after they gagged her, then raped her and kept her in their custody until Thursday, when they threw her out of a car on a main road by the northern coast. mcndirect/showsubject.aspx?id=54955
