Vla Vulsel 1 pk vanilla royal poeding 2 eiergele 3 eetl mielieblom 3 kp melk Metode: Meng die poedingpoeier met die mielieblom. Klits eiergele, voeg by ¾ kp van die melk en meng geleidelik met droë bestandele, wees versigtig dat dit nie klonte maak nie. Plaas die res van die melk in ‘n kastrol en verhit tot dit begin kook. Gooi oor die poedingmengsel, roer goed om te verhoed dat dit klonte maak. Plaas terug op die stoof en verhit weer totdat dit begin kook, roer gedurig tot die vla dik word. Gebruik as vulsel Ryk Botterversiersel 450g Versiersuiker 200g Woodenspoon 5ml Vanieljegeursel Buttercream Frosting 1 c. milk 1/4 c. flour 1 c. butter at room temperature (not melted) 1 c. granulated sugar 2 tsp. vanilla Combine flour and milk in small pan over medium heat. Stir constantly until mixture becomes very thick. Remove from heat and cool. Cream butter and sugar until very fluffy. Add vanilla and cooled flour mixture. Continue to beat until frosting is fluffy and sugar is completely dissolved. For CHOCOLATE FROSTING add 4 tablespoons cocoa. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium - high until glossy, stiff peaks form (do not overbeat), about 3 minutes; reduce speed to low, add vanilla extract, and beat just until combined. Use immediately. Glossy Chocolate Frosting Recipe Ingredients 1/2 cup sugar Sugar substitute equivalent to 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup baking cocoa 3 tablespoons cornstarch 1 cup cold water 4-1/2 teaspoons butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions In a saucepan, combine the sugar, sugar substitute, cocoa and cornstarch. Add water and stir until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in butter and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cupcakes or cake while frosting is still warm. Yield: 1-1/4 cups.
