Swamiji filmed in 1966 by Damodar dasa at Srila Prabhupadas apartment at 26 2nd Ave. Note that the opening shot is a painting of Madan Mohan Mandir in Vrindavan done by Jadurani devi dasi, which was hung directly above SPs sitting place. The painting is a copy of a reproduction of a painting by the British colonial artist Thomas Daniell, who traveled to Vrindavan in 1789, thus being one of the first Westerners to visit Vrindavan and to produce the first pictorial representation of Vrindavan in history. Note the River Yamuna flowing in front of the temple with large trees and shrubbery. Somehow SP got the reproduction and gave it to Jadurani to paint as her first painting. And it is under this picture that SP sat and chanted Hare Krishna in those early days heralding what was to come.
