***Sweet Peas Journey*** A girl can NEVER have enough clothes in her wardrobe!!!! And Sweet Pea is no exception. And she left today with her suitcase slightly larger than what the other dogs get. Her 9 hour trip up north with Foster Mummy Carol is 6 hours down & 3 more to go. Theyve stopped for lunch & a pee & are now back again in the car. Tonight she will stay with Foster Mummy Carol & tomorrow she will be handed over to her new family - Daddys Sweet Pea. This is a special home & one Ive entrusted to care for a very special dog. They are under no illusions as to her situation and take their role as Carer very, very seriously. They are committed & feel extremely privileged to be the new family. They know they will have PFTs ongoing support should the need arise. For them, tomorrow is a very exciting day as they bring her home to begin the rest of their lives together. PFT Sanctuary Carers mean I can place these dogs in new homes knowing the dogs will get whatever they need. It then opens up another spot back in my home. And then I can go out and rescue the next one. And so the cycle continues.
