Swell is starting to build over the northern part of Lake Michigan. First map shows what verified at 2 PM this afternoon. The second one is the guidance for 2 PM from the 12Z model run earlier this morning. The forecast is a bit underdone. Does that mean bigger waves for the south end? Possibly. The winds will die off FAST tomorrow morning. Looks best to me around first light through the early morning hours. This is a tough forecast. I plan on scoring between 630 and 8 AM in St. Joe. Hope to see some of you in the water.
