Switching Servants~Chapter 4 Gilberts POV Gilbert was a bit nervous when he walked in, but made sure it couldnt be noticed. When he finally found Ciel, he bowed and patiently awaited orders. “Youre finally back from vacation. How was it?” Ciel didnt care much, but wondered if he could get any information. “It went as well as usual.” “Good. Now that youre rested, you can fix all the messes that happened when you were gone! The garden is a mess, Mey-Rin broke most of the plates, and Im sure Bardroy was eaten by his food. Get to it.” “Yes, young master.” Gilbert bowed and walked out. He quickly went to the kitchen. “Mr. Sebastian. Its good ta see you back.” Bardroy was cleaning food on the ceiling. Gilbert was shocked, but hid it. “What happened in here?” “I over cooked the food and this happened.” Gilbert sighed. “What were you trying to make?” “Im not exactly sure.” Gilbert tried to think of a fancy meal. He wrote the directions down when he thought of one. “Whatcha writing down?” “Follow the exact directions. Dont change it at all.” Gilbert gave him the paper and went outside. Only the grass in the garden was in good shape. Finny ran up, crying. “Im sorry about this, Mr. Sebastian. I was fixing the bushes and I guess I cut the wrong things.” Gilbert blocked him out and remembered fixing the Vessalius garden. “Mr. Sebastian?” Finny sniffled. “Ill fix this.” Gilbert quickly started working. The garden started looking better in thirty minutes. “Wow. You did a great job, Mr. Sebastian.” “Just dont touch it until everything is fixed.” Gilbert sighed and went to the kitchen, hoping there was no disaster. He stepped back when he saw the flamethrower. “What did I say about changing the directions?” “I jist wanted ta cook it faster.” “Put that down and follow the directions.” Gilbert tried to calm himself. “I have other things to deal with.” Gilbert went to search for Mey-Rin to fix the broken plates. “Thats the one thing I doubt I can do.” He looked around, almost running into Mey-Rin. Instead, she ran into him. “Mr. Sebastian! Im sorry! I didnt mean to run into you.” As she went on and on, Gilbert pushed away the urge to calm her. “Im glad your back.” “Show me what you broke.” “I cant.” “Why not?” “I threw it all away so the young master wouldnt notice, but he somehow found out.” Gilbert inwardly sighed since he knew he wouldnt have to fix anything. “I guess well have to buy new plates. How many are left?” “Only twelve. Im sorry.” “Of course. Ill make sure I get new plates the moment I can.” Gilbert sighed and walked away. He was.quickly stopped by Ciel. “Sebastian, we have unfinished business to take care of.” ‘Shit. I shouldve asked about stuff like this.’ “We must go and see Undertaker.” “Yes, young master.” He followed Ciel out. “Get us there fast.” After Ciel had gotten in the carriage, Gilbert pulled out some addresses he and Sebastian had exchanged. He found Undertakers and quickly memorized it. “Alright. It should be interesting meeting him.” When they arrived, Gilbert debated on going in. Must go in. Must win. Gilbert sighed and walked in. Its creepy, but Ive seen worse. “So what information have you come for today?” “Im pretty sure you already know what we want.” Ciel set his hands on the desk. “I believe you know my price. I want the best laughter.” “Sebastian, I believe its your turn to make him laugh.” Gilberts eye twitched. “Fine. I will try. But you must not watch.” “Fine.” Ciel walked out. “And what do you plan on showing me, fake Sebastian?” “Fake? I am not a fake.” “I was one of the temporary servants at your meeting. I was there for the bet. Actually the fact you thinking you could win the bet was enough to make me laugh until I cried. You could never take Sebastians place.” Gilberts face turned red. “I can take his place and I can do a great job at being Sebastian. No one will figure it out and I will win. I know that for sure.” Undertaker burst out laughing at Gilberts expression and outburst. “Bring your temporary young master in. I think you deserve the information just because you look so pathetic.” “Fine. I cant believe how much you act like Break.” Gilbert pulled Ciel back in for the information. “I wish both of you the best of luck.” Undertaker started laughing as they left. “What did you do that was so funny?” “Nothing of great importance.”
