Synopsis: At 4:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm "QUEDAN" was estimated based on all available data at 880 km East of Tuguegarao City (17.4°N,131.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. It forecast to move North at 17kph. Forecast: Quezon Province, Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to occasionally strong winds coming from the West to Southwest will prevail over the eastern section of Visayas and of Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough. Winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast to Northwest will prevail over Luzon and from the Southwest to West over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.
