Syrian citizens have been flocking Syrian embassies abroad determined to exercise their constitutional right of electing a president. In Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Oman, Soudan, Iran, Russia, Belarus, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sweden, the Czech Republic & several other world countries the Syrians continue to express their strong adherence to their homeland Syria & their rejection of terrorism, foreign intervention & any attempt to encroach on Syria’s sovereignty. The elections in Lebanon witnessed a remarkably high turnout as Syrian citizens started casting their votes since the early hours of the morning today. The Syrian ambassador in Lebanon Mr. `Abdoul Karim `Ali has affirmed that this is a direct response to those who have bet on disrupting the election process & is a sign that the Syrian people believe in Syria’s dignity & sovereignty. The scene of the Syrian embassy in Lebanon has reflected the Syrians’ love for their homeland & their commitment to practice their national right. In Jordan Syrian citizens there continue to take part in the election process casting their ballots at the Syrian embassy in `Amman. The electorate affirmed that holding the elections today is an expression of the will of the Syrian Arab people & their national options & a reflection of their vision for the upcoming phase in restoring security to Syria, protecting national sovereignty & combating terrorism. In Iraq Syrian citizens flocked to the Syrian embassy in Baghdad since the early morning to cast their ballots in the presidential elections of the Syrian Arab Republic. Syrian citizens in Russia have headed to their countrys Embassy in Moscow since seven a.m. local time today to vote for a president capable of fulfilling their national aspirations. A number of citizens enthusiastically voted with blood to confirm their strong determination to participate in this outstanding national event on which they pin great hopes for Syria’s future, freedom & safety. In India Syrian citizens headed to the headquarters of the Syrian embassy in New Delhi to cast their votes in the presidential elections confirming their right to take part in the presidential elections. Syrian citizens living in Malaysia exercised their constitutional right by casting their votes in the presidential elections stressing their support for such a duty. The Syrian embassy at Kuala Lampour received early this morning Syrian voters who expressed pride in their countrys presidential elections. The Syrian Embassies in Arab countries like Yemen, Algeria, Soudan, Oman & Mauritania were also visited today by the Syrian citizens in those countries who came to cast their votes in the early hours of the morning to confirm their adherence to their constitutional right. The same scene has been observed in several other world countries like China, Iran, Indonesia, the Scandinavian sates, Belarus, the Czech Republic & Austria. Syrian citizens there have voiced their determination to exercise their right out of their strong keenness on their country’s sovereignty & their rejection of the misleading media campaigns against it.
