System Administrator - Corp: Yelp is looking for a Systems Administrator to support our growing corporate network and systems. As a member of our Systems team, you will play a pivotal role in building our corporate systems and network infrastructure as well as participate in key design decisions. The ideal candidate has touched all aspects of a large corporate network and can scale along with the company. Were seeking someone who is self-motivated and passionate about designing and implementing secure, reliable, and scalable systems. **Responsibilities** - Manage global Active Directory Domain - General scripting and automation - Linux Server administration - Administer Shoretel global phone systems - File share administration - Ensure system and network security - Develop custom tools as necessary - Document system design and procedures - Network (Internal, VPN, etc) design, architecture and maintenance - Act as escalation point from level 2 HelpDesk staff on issues pertaining to responsible systems **Requirements** - Several years of Linux or UNIX system administration experience - Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory domain - Must be proficient in at least one programming or scripting language, python, ruby, perl, C, etc - Solid understanding of fundamental technologies like TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP - Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery - Excellent communication skills - A sense of humor!
