System Infrastructure Unit Manager -Job Summary: A very big telecommunication company is looking for an IT-System Infrastructure Unit Manager with at least 9 years of experience. Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the design, architecture of data center services and its business continuity. Supervising the overall design, implementation, administration, capacity management and maintenance of the systems infrastructure that includes data center servers, storage, operating systems, ISP core services, data center network, Cloud Computing Services and Service Integration. -Job Description: •Working with senior management team to agree and implement technologies required to support business strategy. •Design and implement Infrastructure technical architecture’s road map, policies, processes and procedures to support business need. •Proactive identification and resolution of technical issues, ensure timely delivery and quality of services, while following a well-documented change management process. •Providing effective and efficient utilization of resources within budget, agreed scope and time scale to sustain the systems and services. •Responsible for service availability, Disaster Recovery Planning, Backup and Recovery operations. Qualifications Required: •A minimum of 3 years in relevant management position, and total 9 to 11 years of experience. •Proven track record leading a team that manages highly available, resilient applications, databases, networks, storage area networks. •Strong knowledge of industry leading infrastructure management best practice. •Proven track record working alongside third party partners and vendors to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. -Technical Experience Required: •Managing relational and non-relational database “MySQL, MySQL MongoDB preferred” in terms of clustering, replication, archiving, backup, availability and capacity. •Managing AAA infrastructure such as LDAP “RedHat directory server and OpenLDAP are preferred” and Radius “FreeRadius is preferred” in terms of availability, replication, backup and capacity. •Managing a disturbed DNS caching and authoritative setup “bind and djb are preferred” in terms of availability, backup and capacity. •Managing Email infrastructure “Dovecot, horde postfix or Exchange are preferred”. •Managing virtualization environment “VMware , KVM or Hyper-V preferred” in terms of availability, clustering and capacity. •Managing OS environment “Linux and windows” clustering, availability and capacity. •Managing Storage and distributed storage, SAN, NAS and distributed filesystems “preferred EMC VNX series” in terms of tearing, distribution, availability, zoning and capacity. •Managing the standard deployment and configurations using automation and configurations management tools “KickStart, Chif, Puppet are preferred” •Managing web servers “preferred Apache, IIS and nginx”, web applications “preferred tomcat, websphere and Jboss”and proxies in terms of availability, capacity and clustering. •Strong knowledge of the intercommunication TCP/ IP “firewalls , switching, routing and Load-balancing” amgad.hazem@premieregypt
