Szymon - Katyusha “This track, aside from being absolutely stunning, has a very sad story behind it. Its from an Australian musician named Szymon Borzestowski who lost his battle with depression and took his own life almost two years ago, at just 23 years old. An almost-finished record was left, and his family have worked tirelessly toward being able to share it with the world. The first track from the album was recently released. Katyusha is an incredible look into Borzestowskis talent. One of a number of instrumentals on the record, it was created entirely in his bedroom using the Fruity Loops program. Uptempo and pulsating, its got a hypnotizing undertone to it that really draws the listener in, creating plenty of atmosphere and vibe along the way. Borzestowskis album Tigersapp is due out in the coming months on a label called Eloper set up specifically to release this record. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be able to listen to this music, and Im sure therell be plenty more who share that same sentiment. - Hugh McClure / Indie Shuffle
