T-storms with some pretty decent structure moved through NWA this - TopicsExpress

T-storms with some pretty decent structure moved through NWA this early evening. The storms as they moved through NWA brought up to 1/2 sized hail and some gusty winds up to 40 mph. It looked rather ominous just NW of Siloam Springs at approx 4:15 PM. A little bit of a lowering developed lasting about 5 minutes. We captured these images from our Weatherbug camera on Allen Elementary in Siloam Springs. The storm had weak rotation on radar at the time. The system that moved through was impressive, BUT the low level winds werent strong enough to create the shear needed to produce tornadoes, which is why these storms gusted out quickly.
