TA 119 Infantry Battalion Recruitment rally 2014 TA 119 Infantry Battalion Recruitment rally will be conducting rally for persons hailing from North Eastern region, West Bengal & Andaman Nicobar Island From 4 Aug to 7 Aug at Kenchs trace, Bishnupur,shilong from 0700 Hrs. Total Number of Vacancy are as follows Soldier GD :10 Washerman: 4 EBR:1 Clerk:1 Blacksmith:1 House Keeper:02 Events for Recruitment Rally are as under: 4 Aug : 0700 hrs to 1400 hrs 5 Aug: 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs 7 Aug Event: Running & Physical Test, Medical Examination and Personal Interview. Educational Qualification: 1.Soldier general Duty- West Bengal – Class X Pass with 45% aggregate. Assam,Tripura & Meghalaya [Except ST] & gorkhas of Indian domicile,Andaman and Nicobar Group Island [Except ST & Aboriginals] Class X simple pass. All other NE Status, Sikkim,Tribals & Aboriginals of Andaman & Nicobar Group Island and all ST candidates – Class VIII pass. 2.House Keeper:- class VIII Pass and efficiency in trade work. 3.Washerman, EBR & Chef, black smit:-Class 10th pass and efficiency in trade work.Class VIII pass for candidates from North East states,Sikkim, Andaman & nicobar group of Islands,Gorkhas & ST candidates. 4.Soldier Clerk:-minimum educational qualification-class XII pass with 50% marks in aggregate and not less than 40% marks in any subject. Should have computer knowledge and studied & passed English and Maths/Accts/Book keeping in class 10th & 12th with minimum 40% in each of these subjects. Height:-152 cms for Gorkhas, Garhwails & assamese, 155 cms for adivasis & 160 cms for all other categories Weight:-50 kgs. Chest:-77 cms with expansion of 05 cms. Age:- 18-42 years. Physical test:- The screened candidates who qualify in the 1.6 Km run will be put through the following physical tests in the sequence as under:- Pull Up. Balance. 9 ft Ditch. The candidates should posses good military bearing and will undergo a medical examination by a qualified military doctor prior to the enrolment and should be medically fit as per laid down Army standards. The selected candidates will be employed by 119 infantry Battalian [territorial Army] Assam, Pin-934319, c/o 99 APO as Territorial Army soldier [Combatant]. Territorial army soldiers are embodied for military service as and when required only.The pay and other facilities when embodied for military service is an under:- [a] after attestation- Approx Rs 18,000/- per month incl DA. [b]Free food, accn & clothing [c]Free medical facilities while in service. Note:-Above pay and facilities will not be provided when not embodied for military service.Assured embodiment for Territorial Army soldier is only for two months in a year. Terms and conditions :-17 yrs of service or 50 yrs age [Period of service] whichever is earlier. Pensioner Benefits:-Pensioner benefits are applicable as per Regular Army on completion of minimum 15 yrs of embodied service.
