TAHMO, FUTA to organize Sensor Design Workshop The Trans-African Hydro-Meteorological Observatory (TAHMO) Project, an initiative of the Delft University of Technology and Oregon State University, United States of America is partnering the Federal University of Technology, Akure to organize the Sensor Design Competition 2014 (Ecowas Edition) workshop. The aim of the Project which started few years ago is to design and build a dense network of 20,000 weather stations in Africa – at a distance of one every 30km. The workshop which holds in Akure between August 4th – 8th is open to Students, Scholars, Engineers and other interested people from ECOWAS. For more information, visit TAHMD.org.
