TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR A SPECIFIC POSITION: INVENTORY ASSISTANT If you are often accused of being anal-retentive, this might be the job for you. Were seeking an individual to assist in our inventory department. Duties include but are not limited to: packaging foods, data entry, record keeping, inventory control, restocking, cleaning, etc. Were seeking an individual who is self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, while still accomplishing their assigned tasks quickly and in a timely fashion. They must be quality conscious, and detail oriented. A solid work ethic and an abundance of common sense are necessary qualities. Doing things right the first time must be a priority. This position requires a team player who has respect for the chain of command, takes direction and follows it. Multi-tasking must come to you easily. You must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, be able to be on your feet most of the day, and able to work in an environment that is fast paced while keeping customer service as a top priority. Individual must have reliable transportation and be punctual. A good sense of humor is vital in this environment as well as the ability to adjust and re-adjust easily. Computer skills are desired along with good record keeping abilities. This position is a full-time position. The hours will be 9am - 6pm during Fall/Winter months and 8am - 5pm during the Spring/Summer months, with some Saturdays required. 1 hour lunch. While you will have the specific duties listed above, please know you will be expected to pitch in when needed in other areas of the store. Motherhood/Wifehood is a job like no other! If you have raised a family you are most likely a multi-tasking queen who knows the importance of scheduling. If your children are also mostly alive and well, you know how to practice patience which is paramount in customer service. Come apply! Q: Do you look favorably on military spouses and are you willing to hire them? A: If you are qualified for the job and possess the skills and qualities we are looking for, were happy to have you. If you are a military spouse, you might just be better adjusted to change than most so that is a bonus! Would we prefer you were here long term, you betcha! Do you get a choice? No, so that means we deal with it as it comes just like you do. Q: Do you hire women with children? A: Yes, unless she acts like one of the children. Mom has 8 and shes here.
