Highland Lakes Road, from Golden Valley to Steppes. – Accessible by 4WD and vehicle with chains only Poatina Road from Poatina to Highland Lakes Road – 4WD and vehicles with xchains only Marlborough Road from Miena to Lyell Highway. 4WD and vehicles with chains only Murchison Highway, Waratah (between Animal Creek and the picnic area near Waratah turn off). 4WD and vehicles with chains only. Cradle Development Road, Cardle Mountain is accessible by Four WD vehicles only. extreme caution Other snow affected roads: Murchison Highway between Tullah and the Cradle Mountain Link Road turn off (4WD vehicles recommended but still accessible to vehicles). Midland Highway, Oatlands (motorists should use caution due to snow falling on the road). Collins Cap Road, Molesworth. Lyell Highway, Queenstown to Derwent Bridge is open to all vehicles with extreme caution Zeehan Highway, Queenstown through to Zeehan open but extreme caution Anthony Main Road is open to all vehiclesd with caution. Cradle Track open to all vehicles with caution Waratah Main Road open to all vehicles with caution Huon Highway at Vinces Saddle snow is settling as far down as Grove and visibility very poor Tasman Highway at Premadyna – snow is settlig on road and currently hail and ice falling.
