TAZ aka HUCKELBERRY - A1013287 @ the Manhattan NY High-Kill Shelter ** Sweet Beagle boy alert!! ** A volunteer writes: Taz is a reserved gentleman who was found as a stray. He is a handsome hound who might not have enjoyed lately a pampered life. His nails are amazingly long, his coat, although intact and displaying vibrant colors, is a bit shabby. He has many calluses and a bad, most likely unattended left eye. His ears are badly infected but now treated. Taz is always at his door. He is a calm and polite fellow who was scared when he first arrived at the care center. He is now going with the flow, looking forward to his walk with a caretaker and company. He seems a bit less lost. Taz walks nicely on the leash and seems quite house trained. He meets in a very civil way other dogs and even tries to make friends with some. He comes when called, sits close and accepts caresses. No elder should be left to his or her lonesome. A home sweet home, welcoming walls, hugs and kisses, decent basic care, slow walks in the park, may be chasing squirrels….that is what Taz needs….Do you have the home and the heart to receive Taz and love him to pieces ?
