#TBT - GM Family/Friends! As I am thinking, mothers came up and I just want to reflect on a few. These are my girls mother’s and I am reflecting on them, they have always been there for me. They always said I was special and I need lot of attention and they always gave it to me Bev Harden, her mother, Mom Janie, if you want to have a good time with your family, she is the Mom to set that up. She is always there for her family and she included you too, and if you want to win money call her! Robin Honore, her mother Gma Honore, this one is the strong one, she was a teacher and yes very strict, she has survived two critical surgeries and she is still standing at 80 years old. She is the one who lay it on the line whether you like it or not! Brigete Evans and B Mich Williams, their mother, Ma Shirley, was the quiet one, when she got something to say, she will say quick and she is out. When I go over there I am always asking her to do something for me and she always tells me ‘No’, but she made me feel so special yesterday, while I was sick with my BP, she left me a msg to see how I was feeling and to get better and if I need her she is there and I always knew it. Elaine Harris, my cousin, her mother, my aunt, Auntie Anna Harris, this is my second mother, when my Mom moved to ATL she became my Mom, she did not treat me any different from her kids, her and I had good times together, we would fall asleep on each other and when she realize it, she would push me, and every time I move, she would come over that one time check everything out to make sure it was livable and never come back unless someone was bothering me. My step-motherMary Perkins, my Mother was a jewel, for her to put up with my Dad over forty years, she is the best. My brothers and I gave her hell but she kept standing , she has been thru a lot and I want her to know that she taught me a lot on how to be accepted when you are facing black and white issue (Racism). We lived in Boston and racism was real there and still is and she stood tall in Boston, when it came to her, we were one color and that was we are family. Now last, the one who brought me here, my Mommie , Mary Wilhite, you see my Dad couldn’t leave those Mary’s alone. She is my everything here, my confidant here, my world here, my life here. When I thought my Mommie had favorites, I thought I wasn’t , I thought she just loved boys. I am her child because she knows that I am the one that tries to keep this family together. I know that my Mommie loves me because she made me be the lady I am today. To be strong, smart, healthy, confident, loving, pleasant, humble, adorable, and lovable. When my Dad left and remarried, she always told us to love our father and what they went thru had nothing to do with us. I know this may be late but as my Mommie always says, Mother’s Day is every day. Mom, Gma, Ma, Auntie, Mother, and Mommie, thank you all for the wisdom, knowledge, sacrifices, burdens, words, trials, tribulations, & just putting up with me, I know I was a handful and I love you all with all my heart. That is my Mommie when she was a lil girl, her in her fifties and Present. That is what I woke up on my mind today! Have A Beautiful Day!!
