TBT! Sabina Allen Metcalf and Martha Melissa (Baldwin) Metcalf, Sabina and Melissa Metcalf were brother-in-law and youngest sister to Margaret Catharine Baldwin Boring, my wifes Great Great Grandmother. This picture was taken in the late 1880s to early 1890s and the original is in possession of a cousin Melissa Parrish. Sabina A. Metcalf was born on 20 March 1840, in Clermount County, Ohio and passed away on 21 June 1919 and is buried in Galveston, Cass County, Indiana. Sabina Metcalf was a Corporal in the 39th Indiana Cavalry Reg. Co. D, enlisting on 29 August 1861. His regiment was reorganized on 20 October 1863 and became the 8th Indiana Cavalry Regiment. He was mustered out after the end of the war on 20 July 1865 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Martha Melissa Baldwin Metcalf was born on 18 July 1847 and passed away on 29 August 1932 and is buried in Galveston, Cass County, Indiana.
