TDHL was concerned when she saw a little blood in my midday stool, so she rushed me to the vet. He said that it was most likely a broken blood vessel, due to the stomach issues Ive been having. I got a penicillin shot and will be on antibiotics for 5 days to hopefully clear up my tummy troubles. But the vet doesnt want me to eat ANYTHING until tomorrow morning (!) so that my system can clean out! >:( Not too happy about that, although I can have 2 tsp. of yogurt. He also wants me to eat chicken & rice for a few days until my stool starts to harden again. The good news is that the vet wants me to put on a few pounds since Ive lost muscle mass. So now TDHL will have to start giving me a little more food each meal. Hooray! As always, well continue to keep you posted on my health!
