TEAM SKN FAILS TO ADVANCE. STILL A COMMENDABLE PERFORMANCE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Despite being unable to make the finals after copping a BRONZE medal in the 2011 edition of the championship Team SKN still perform creditably. It would’ve been a tall order to repeat their success without the Legend Kim Collins who has the fastest time of any Kittitian athletes for 2013 and in history. Team SKN placed 5th in their heat behind Germany, Canada, Netherlands, Italy. And ahead of the Bahamas, Chinese Taipei and Australia.’ The team ran a season’s best but was short of their record time in copping the bronze in Daegu. The team is a young team and there is little doubt that we will be seeing a lot more of TEAM SKN in the world of athletics in the future.
