#TENNIS 411: Novak Djokovic defeats David Ferrer 7-5, 7-5 to win the Paris Master title, and can still end the year 2013 as world number one. By regaining the title he last won in 2009, Djokovic inflicted a seventh successive final defeat on the reigning champion, Ferrer. The Serb thus becomes the third active player after Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to reach the milestone of 40 ATP World Tour wins. With only one event remaining in the season, next weeks World Tour Finals in London, Djokovic still has the opportunity to overhaul Nadal in the rankings and end the year at the summit.
