TGIC: National Conference Matters Arising! State of Origin/State of Residence which would you advocate for? You will recall that in recent times, we have had series of cases where Nigerian citizens are discriminated against, due to their ethnic background. Some were refused admission into State owned universities, while some were sacked and sent packing to their respective state of origin, even when these states belong to the same region. Also, some Nigerians were denied opportunities based on the name they bear. These challenges do not really define who we are and the unity we enjoy despite our diversities. These and many more are currently being discussed at the National Confab. Admin wishes to know, State of Origin/State of Residence which would you advocate for? Goodmorning!
