THANK YOU LORD.......... For what Thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God. (1 Thessalonians 3:9) Thank God for YOU............. (you as a person, in fact you can put your name there) Have you not realise changes in your life? Were you like this from infancy? Are you the same person ten years or five years back? I dont use a mirror but if you use beloved, stand before your mirror today and declare your swag in Christ. Jack, you look splendid by the finished works of God in Christ! You are too worried about many things and yet that is what Jesus cautioned Martha on. Comparison is good I must confess, it challenges you to higher aspirations of life. But also recognise that where you are now is by Grace and another is apiring to be you. (Somebody get you do...) Yes, we may fall and rise in life. Some sicknesses along the way. Some loses around. Some disappointments here and there, some misfortunes we see and the list goes on. Attacks from the camp of the enemy among others. But in all this we have to be in accordance with the Psalmist to say ...You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint my head with oil.....surely, goodness and mercy is following us all the days of our life.... Count it all joy wherever you find yourself in life. It might even be as a results of some wrong choices made but still thank God for He is our Redeemer. Have you consider what others are not getting which you have freely received? You know of malaria as a sickness but have you also heard of Parkinsons, Alzheimers and gout among others? (Seems like names of great politicians right? They are all diseases.) You are no victims of such. You have every cause to thank Him. You have a problem where you live and you weep over it everyday. I live in Bolga where harmattan is our friend and yet I think of that child in Sudan or Bombay. You missed any childhood killer disease of life even when you were not born again. Aaaaaabba! You have every cause to thank God for YOU. I could go on and on even to the formation you as a foetus in the womb of your mother. But kindly do me a favour this Friday. Just sit for a moment and think about nothing but YOU. Know that the Lord has indeed been good to you. I am thanking God for me for many things. Even for bringing you into my life. I am most grateful. Thank God for you! For you are His masterpiece for greater works. Believe it and walk in it. Remember what Queency said? Until we get there, we must be here....
