THANK YOU NIALL DOYLE FOR THE BELOW HONOUR: Niall Doyle THE NIALL DOYLE HONOURS LIST FOR 2014. The Queen of England has her annual new year honours list. So if she can have such a thing then so can anyone of us. So here is my top 5 honours list for 2014, but not necessarily in any order of importance as they are all equal in credibility. (1) Journalist Gemma O Doherty for winning her case against Independent Newspapers censorship. She was sacked in 2013 for exposing Garda Commissioner Martin Callinans penalty points and attempting to expose the 8 penalty points wiped for corrupt Westmeath State Solicitor Peter Jones. (2) Mick Wallace TD for succeeding in winning his Data Protection case against Alan Shatter and for his relentless work in the face of constant media derision, in helping get rid of a corrupt Justice Minister and equally corrupt Garda Commissioner. (3) The 2 Garda Whistleblowers John Wilson and Maurice McCabe, who had to endure non stop attacks on their credibility from the Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan, Justice Minister Alan Shatter and Irelands leading crime journalist Paul Williams. (4) The peaceful protesters, many of who are personally known to me, who were assaulted, arrested and illegally incarcerated by Gardai while engaging in peaceful protest and who, like the whistleblowers, had to endure non stop condemnation, not only from the powers that be, but from so called fellow protesters, such fakes who have now been exposed as wannabe politicians and pretend protesters. (5) Cynthia Owen of the Dalkey House of Horrors for her non stop work in pursuit of justice for her murdered baby over 40 years ago but who keeps getting ignored by successive Irish governments such is the scale of the cover up in her case. Let the people of Ireland row in behind this brave woman in 2015 please.
