THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS! We recently hosted our volunteer banquet and were honored to present our group award to The Friends of Horicon National Wildlife Refuge for all of their hard work this past year. They hosted multiple public events, compiled and submitted several grants, worked on invasive species, and implemented the landscaping project. Specifically, Alan Fuller (pictured), who received the Volunteer of the Year Award, was instrumental in obtaining the grants and working on the landscaping project, spending many hours on each! Overall, our 172 volunteers contributed 5,830 hours for a value of $22.14 an hour, which equates to $131,466 in time and talent!!
