THE APOSTLE PAUL SPEAKS OF THE ENTRANCE OF GREVIOUS WOLVES 26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. The grievous wolves introduced heresies and all sorts of pagan practices into the church. Thats why the church ceased to be the church and the dark ages crept in because the flock was not spared. A non biblical priesthood was introduced, images of the apostolic saints and others were placed in the sanctuary. People began praying to dead saints instead of to God; the apostolic and prophetic writing were locked away and all sorts of religious pagan practices took root, seemingly trying to corrupt the Holy scriptures. I Timothy 4 1 ¶ Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 6 ¶ If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. God is counting on his ministers in these times to get into the Word and teach, instead of being taken up by other things, so that the saints may be perfected in the word. That we no more be driven by every wind of doctrine, vain philosophies and doctrines of devil. That we become rooted and grounded steadfast and unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord. ISAIAH 60 1 ¶ Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
