Sadly at auction private buyers are usually here for an as-is purchase. The horses in poor condition are at risk of losing their 2nd chance to find a caring home where they can come back and perhaps be the one-in-a-lifetime horse for an adopter. Rescued horses are usually so grateful to be protected and allowed to eat and recover.
